For easy stone polishing, this polishing pad may be used wet -or- dry. The Velcro back is used for quick attachment and detachment from the arbor pad (Velcro attachment sold separately). Use the 50 grit pad to remove scratches and small chips to even your surface out.
Make sure all prior scratches are removed before moving onto the next grit. Polish from grit 50 to grit 3000 respectively. Use coarser pads at softer speeds (50 grit to 3000 grit = most coarse to softest. DO NOT exceed 3500 RPM when polishing.
Larger diameters are preferred by stone and tile professionals for faster polishing times and longer life span, while the smaller diameters are reserved for hobbyist and enthusiast. They may also be used for removing stains from stone such as marble and travertine.
